Reset Factory Mapping
Q. How do I reset my MIDI controller back to the default factory mappings?
If you have created or installed a custom mapping for your controller and wish to use the factory default instead you can easily set the controller's mapping back to the default factory settings without having to delete anything.
Go to SETTINGS CONTROLLERS, and choose the appropriate device from the left side controller menu.
Once the controller is selected, click on the Mapping drop down menu and select factory default.
This will use the default mapping for the device and leave any custom mappers that have been created intact so that they can be later selected again if you wish to use them. The factory default mapping will always be available in the software (regardless of how many custom mappers that have been created) and cannot be deleted.
